Silvia Mella

Short Bio

Silvia Mella received her Master degree in Mathematics from the University of Milan in 2012.
She is currently a Ph.D. Student at the Computer Science Department of the University of Milan,
where she is working on the cryptanalysis of Keccak, the algorithm selected by NIST to become the new standard SHA-3.
The goal of her research is to find a lower bound on the weights of differential and linear trails in Keccak.
Here research interests include also Homomorphic Encryption and Side-channel attacks.
