These set of awards are to recognize the best papers published in the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics. A 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place Best Paper Award is given and presented at the ICCE. The Award consists of a plaque and a financial award.

The 3rd place in 2007 IEEE Chester W. Sall Memorial Award was assigned to Prof. Ernesto Damiani, Dr. Marco Anisetti, and Dr. Valerio Bellandi for the paper titled “Rough Sets-Assisted Subfield Optimization for Alternating Current Plasma Display Panel”, appeared on the Transaction on Consumer Electronic, Vol. 53.
