Short Bio
Maryam Sepehri is a Postdoctoral fellow at Dipartimento di Informatica, Università degli Studi di Milano. She completed her Ph.D. at Computer Science in Milan University, where she was a part of security research group working on Secure Multi-Party Computation under the supervision of Prof. Ernesto Damiani and Prof. Stelvio Cimato as her co-supervisor. Then, she joined to PRACTICE project with the aim of providing security and privacy guarantees for participating parties in cloud computing scenarios. In 2017, she joined as a visiting postdoc to security research group of Prof. Florian Kerschbaum at University of Waterloo. She enjoyed working on attacks over secure outsourced databases. Currently, she is working on the development of secure solutions to Cryptographic schemes supporting queries against persistent adversaries. She is also a part of research project working on private information sharing using homomorphic encryption methods and differential privacy.
